Nathan John Feuerstein was born on March 30 in 1991. His initials NF (stylized IF) are an American musician, rapper and songwriter. He has released two EPs, I'm Free (2012),[3] and a self-titled EP in 2014 with Capitol CMG. The first album by a major label, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. His second studio record, Therapy Session (April 22, 2016), peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard 200. The albums have been awarded numerous awards including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award in Rap/Hip Hop Album (Therapy Session). Perception the album released by NF in 2017, made it to the top spot in the United States, and was certified platinum. The third single, "Let You Go" made it to number 12 in the United States. Billboard Hot 100, and was a top-ten hit internationally. The Search, his sequel to his hit album also was a commercial success. Feuerstein said that during his early years, rap was a way to escape. He recorded songs on his karaoke machine. The raps he penned were recorded using one microphone. Feuerstein self-released his debut album Moments on November 29, 2010, under his real name. On August 2, 2011 the singer released his first single "Alone". Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the track's producers and songwriters. Xist Music noticed Feuerstein’s work in the year 2012. On May 2, 2012 he released his debut extended play , I'm Free, with production work from Profitt. The playlist included nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version of "Alone" with Sean Simmonds. Xist teased the release the self-titled extended piece, NF. However, Feuerstein was able to separate from the label during the midst of a disagreement. The release of NF was subsequently delayed. Despite this, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, on the label's compilation album, Move Vol 1. On November 4 2013 he released an album "Beautiful Addiction" that came out on the 4th of November. Profitt was heard again on the track as well singing by Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
